Happy Dante Day!
Or as they say in Italy, Dantedi!
There are many reasons we at WMG celebrate Dante Day.
First, Dante Alighieri (1265-1321) was one of the greatest writers in the history of Western literature, whose expression of what it meant to be human was such a dramatic departure, and so right on, that we are still talking about it 900 years later. His conception of the afterlife in the Divine Comedy still forms the root of many peoples’ images of heaven, hell, and all that lies between, and what it might be like to take a tour of those regions.
Second—do you really need any more reasons after that one?! Hell no!
